Under consideration apparently:

Demolish the Dome? Convention officials contemplate it : News

I must say I was somewhat sad when Busch Stadium (II) went down and also the old Arena just because I personally had a lot of memories starting in childhood in those places, but I have no such emotional attachment to the dome.

Probably because the Blues and Cards are still here. The EJD is a reminder of the Kroenke ownership fiasco.

What a fiasco from the get go. Only St. Louis would build a brand new indoor football stadium that was obsolete if not when constructed shortly thereafter.

I say go for it. All it is now is a building filled with bad memories.

I'm normally not in favor of demolition as a rule...but let's wreck that piece of ****.

I've only been in the Convention Center to pick up race packets for the Rock and Roll St. Louis races.
Seemed like a nice facility - I had no idea they were wanting more exhibit space.
Yes this is a no-brainer - knock out the dome and expand the center and add a ballroom or two.
The more appealing the center, the more events will be interested in taking place there.

You did win a Super Bowl (actually should have been two but New England was cheating and the officiating in that game was atrociously pro-Patriot). Many cities cannot claim that.
Warner/Bruce/Holt/Faulk - remember the great ones.

One must wonder if this is related to building a new facility for an MLS team, probably mixed use with new hotel(s) and expanded convention facility.
