As for paying the cash? That's simply lunch money for Wash U.'s chancelor.
Because all past Veep and Presidential debates for that matter have been the end all to what's deemed "Must see TV". Stockdale '92 anyone??? I think the debate being held in St. Louis gave a little star treatment for the city. It was good and positive exposure that made the city of St. Louis look good in my opinion.

The Stl portion of the debate was great/fine.

The debate itself wasn't a debate, it was two people regurgitating talking points slammed into their head by dozens of staffers.

As for Stockdale, I believe you and I have a far different view and understanding of "Must See TV." That to me was unfortunate as opposed to Must see TV.

Yeah I do agree....The way the media hyped the whole event was sad in itself then come to find out it ended up being two mechanized sidekicks just boosting the egos of their Presidential hopefuls.

Sorry for sounding so jaded but I'm just so tired of this election. I just want it to be over. I can't wait until Nov 4th comes and goes.
