~Sorry this is a rant~ do these people you off too???

My husband and I have been shopping around trying to find a good finance person and it seems like every agency we talk to the people are slow. And it’s always oh wait I will get right back with you I have to check and then 1-2-3 days latter still no answer… It’s like no one knows there job. This is ridiculous. Its not like there are millions of people buying houses right now… you think they would actually do their job.

After trying to be positive on these boards, this is a local trait that just irks me (and the high school thing as well as the tailgaters). I know I will get hammered on this one too. The truth hurts.

YOU are the one that needs to be proactive. Because many local business people are not. When we bought our home, we couldn't get an answers on most issues for at least 3 days. You figure that in a slow market people would be anxious to make deals.

We recently bought a new car, it took almost twenty days to get the paperwork straightened out so we could register it. Sure there were out-of-state issue on the trade-in, but twenty days is ridiculous.

On job interviews, I always get the "your work is great" and ,"you are just what we need". Then I never hear from them again. They don't return phone calls or follow up on emails. In my book, that's just rude and unprofessional.
