And my street is there even though my house wasn't built until the late 50's! And while we are talking about the "Insane Asylum", I have to say it is one of the most beautiful buildings in St. Louis. I live a couple blocks away and I love looking at it from the computer room. I have always wondered why a mental institution is in such a nice building! Most people, even some native St. Louisans seem to think it is some sort of capital building.
