I want to take flaxseed oil for the omega 3 but I know the lignans in it are phytoestrogens (mimic estogen in the body) which I am very sensitive to. If I don't shake it up and drink just the oil without the lignans does it still have the same amount of omega 3?
When you are shopping for flaxseed oil, there are usually two choices. If you are considered about consuming too many phytoestrogens, then avoid the one that says "high lignan".
