We are thinking about buying a condo/townhouse in Baldwinsville, NY. I have been searching and I find alot in Village Green. It seems Village Green has apartments, condos, townhomes and possibly single family homes. Can anyone give me any info on the kind of community this is? Is this a good place to live? Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It is a planned community from the 1970's, if I'm not mistaken. It has a golf course too: Foxfire Golf Course | Baldwinsville | Syracuse

It is close to I-690. So, it is a quick drive into Syracuse. You can also take Route 48 North into the village of Baldwinsville or if you take a left in the middle of the village onto Route 31 East, it will take you to shopping which is roughly between Route 57 and Morgan Road.

It is in the Baldwinsville School District, which is a very good district. It is also recognized as a census designated place according to the US Census: Village Green, New York - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ironwood and Seneca Golf Courses are close by too.

I had a friend who rented a townhouse there for a few years - as far as I know, she loved it.

Can't go wrong with Village Green, we also had friends who lived there until they bought a single family. They enjoyed their time there, but the family was getting a bit big. VG is reasonable, close to the Village of Baldwinsville and all the happenings there and rt. 31, golf course, plus the quick drive into the C'use and close to the 690/Thruway.

Hello Dmt67,

You said you've been considering the Village Green Area to buy a place.

I've found some more possible desireable Townhomes that you may not know about for sale in other suburban areas. You did not mention a price range so I just guessed about that. Listed below is what I found for you to consider. The asking prices are listed=you can always offer less money and possibly get a better price. All the Townhomes are arranged by the Suburban area name.

RADISSON community at Baldwinsville NY
Radisson is a desireable area just east of Baldwinsville village. It is an excellent, quiet, forested community with paved walking-biking-jogging trails through the woodlands, small lakes/ponds, lots of natural park-green areas, golf course, tennis courts, & more.
