Im in preparations for moving back to the Syracuse area in June. I have been researching townhouses and am trying to figure out which ones to persue.

My questions is this...Ive looked at Glenview Townhomes, Saddle Club and Eagles Pointe online.

Now I used to live in the saddle club townhomes when I was in highschool..when they were tudor townhomes...and they were getting junky..but looks like they are redone. I dont want to live in a ghetto.

Any Liverpudlians want to help this Wisconsin girl figure out which townhouse complex to choose. I wont buy a house until I'm grounded in the area for a while. I figure a townhouse would suffice and hopefully have some highschool kids my children could get to know before they started a new school.

Help.

Thanks! Sarah

I'm not exactly familiar with those townhouses in Liverpool, but I seriously doubt that any of them are "ghetto".

Good Luck!

Awesome. I only mentioned ghetto because wayyyyy back in the day when I lived in the Old Tudor Townhomes (now Saddle Club) in L'pool they started letting the truck driver students room there...it started to get seedy. But when I look online at the property now a days..its gorgeous.

Holy Cow, I remember those! My family first lived in the Candlelight Lane Apartments when they moved to Liverpool in 86'. I actually lived the first few years of my life in L'pool until my mother bought a house in nearby Mattydale. But I remember that there was a gaping hole in the fence between Tudor and Candlelight, and both places were a little seedy. I hear they've cleaned up since then.

shut up! I used to live in Candlelight lane too before we "upgraded" to the Tudor Townhomes. We lived on the Crescent Villiage side...building 31E. We moved out of those my sophomore year of HS so it had to been 1985-ish. I remember there was a little bit of woods with a gaping hole that let right to tudors. we used to meet friends there and sled down "suicide hill". Ahhhhhhhhh the memories.

I remember when I was 18-19 and was looking for an apt with a friend before I got married and came to Wisconsin, we looked at an apartment in my old building in Candlelight Ln..it was total ****...green carpet and all.

I'm glad to hear they redid alot of the townhomes there..gives me hope on finding a nice place when I move back.
