Hi, I am a 24 year old female grad student moving to the area. I will be moving over summer and will have another female roommate and will be bringing my cat. I have been looking at apartments online and have heard some of Syracuse can be kind of sketchy, especially downtown. I want to live within reason of school (LeMoyne) but also don't want to be in a completely suburban area and prefer a downtown area near some action or close to SU. Can anyone offer any information about safety of these places? Or suggest anything similar that is pet-friendly? Thanks so much!!
