Like the other chat threads here, a thread for the Orange will be cool!

Tough loss vs Wisconsin tonight. Hoping it was just Atlantis hangover and that we weren't overachieving in Atlantis. Still they lost this game on missing free throws. Plus throughout the whole game, Wisconsin fought harder and you could tell they wanted it more. Hoping the 6-0 Syracuse team shows up on Saturday and not tonight's team.

11/13 W 57-47 vs Leigh
11/17 W 79-66 vs St Bonaventure
11/21 W 65-55 vs Elon*
11/25 W 83-70 vs Charlotte*
11/26 W 79-76 vs UCONN*
11/27 W 74-67 vs Texas A&M*
12/2 L 58-66 vs Wisconsin

Record: 6-1
Next Game: 12/5 @ Georgetown

*Battle 4 Atlantis Game

Is Syracuse still a choice for you in regards to the academic program and running cross country?

It looks like Jim Boeheim's 9-game suspension will begin with the game against Georgetown. He'll be back to coaching his team in time for the UNC game on Jan 9th.

I'm pretty ticked at the NCAA for going after him with such a severe punishment when he had nothing to do with those violations - and the 101 wins they have to "vacate" really steams my rice - ugh. It's a witchhunt, that's all it is.

In the meantime, I'll do my part to support this great basketball program while it's being dumped upon by the overloads over at the NCAA.

Let's go Or-ange! Let's go Or-ange!

It looks like this will most likely be the next head football coach at SU: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dino_Babers

Tough loss vs Georgetown. Still annoyed at how the NCAA screwed over Boeheim. Lost 2 in a row, hopes Hopkins and his team rebounds for an easy game on Tuesday vs Colgate.

It is official: Syracuse football officially hires Dino Babers, a head coach with 'a proven track record' | syracuse.com

I think this is the right choice.

Haven't posted in a while...Syracuse is 9-3. I don't think this team will go far in the tourney, however.

Am very excited for the future of Syracuse Football. Hope Dino Babers does well and the chance the 'Cuse have making it to a bowl game is higher than the Bills making the playoffs with Rex Ryan. I am being cautiously optimistic about the Basketball Team. They had am impressive showing at the Tournament, but sank after. They were only able to beat Colgate, Cornell, and Montana. Their loses came to Wisconsin, Georgetown, and St Johns which aren't top 25 teams this year. Hoping they turn it around before the ACC games start.
