what is the average propane price to heat.

You can probably find local pricing through Suburban Propane... I'm sure they have a website with their current rates. I do know that they offer a price freeze if you contract with them.

Avoid Suburban like the plague unless you think they're a more worthy recipient of your bank account funds than you (yourself) are.

Ahhh - well, see I've had that happen with just about every auto-pay out there... so I make all payments manually, with the exception of USAA (auto insurance) since they serve military families and are more than accomodating. LOL - it's typically a bad idea to give any one/company access to your accounts. No - it's not as convenient but it's worth the hassle, at least for me, to ensure that your funds are safe.
