Please? Come on. 313 threads in here. And as the lines blur more and more there is NO need for a separate tablets forum.
People still constantly post in the wrong ones.
We told you "powers that be" when you split these forums out that you fragmented it too much.
Has it NOT been proven now? Did I mention the paltry 313 threads?

I am about to post a thread about a new computer I got. O wait, but it's also a PC as it has full blown Windows on it. But it really is a tablet. But I want the Windows 8 haters to see it. Will they if I post it here?
Such a quandary....
How about we just... I don't know... listen to the most important people on this forum... you know, your users??? Many of us said it was too fragmented now. Not one poster commented that they liked the new setup.
Can we merge this one at least, into COMPUTERS?

I think there are still plenty of people out there that use tablets as tablets and not a full fledged computer. Keep in mind, not everyone is technically savvy so keeping the 2 separate helps.

I also think a distinct forum is useful. As long as it's kept to threads that are unique to tablets.
There might not be hundreds or thousands a day, but it's very useful, and I use my PC hourly and my tablet daily and each has their own strengths and weaknesses enough that I really don't see a future where I'd want only one.

I disagree, and I'm pretty sure most of the people that spend their time here helping others will agree.
But if I am wrong, I will acquiesce. More opinions?

I just got this:

ASUS Transformer Book T100 Convertible Notebook Tablet, Specs & More

I'd like to post a review for others. But it's TRULY a Convertible Laptop. It has REAL Windows on it.
But it's a tablet.
The line is too blurred now and only getting blurryier...

Much as I respect your opinion on most tech things, I have to disagree on this one.
IMO, "Tablets" are Android and iOS based tablets. They dominate the tablet market.

Anything with Windows 8.1 AND a physical keyboard is a laptop and belongs in the "Computer" forum.

Now get your "ASUS" outa here.

Tablets are different, yes, but I seem to recall people going to the computer forum for help rather than here.
