Just got an internship offer from FSU and most likely going to take it. What are the nicest apartment in Tallahassee? Money isn't an issue. Looking for something not terribly far from FSU, but doesn't have to be in the immediate area, as I'll have my car. Did a little looking around online and Victoria Grand looks really nice. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Victoria Grand is an incredible place, but it is very expensive.

There are a ton of new high end apartments,, are you looking for family apartments or more student apartments?

Money's not really an issue. COL is significantly lower than other places I was looking such as Northern California and DC/Northern Virginia. I really dont want student apartments because I'm kinda done with the whole get drunk 6 nights a week thing. Really looking for whatever the nicest, most upscale place to live is. Preferably a nice mix of younger and older people.

Victoria Grande looks really nice from the outside ... I've never seen inside. Also look at The Reserve (Conner Blvd.). Very nice, both inside and outside. Neither complex is inexpensive, but that seems to be ok with you.

Thanks I'll check it out. I went kinda cheap-ish for my last internship in Arizona and ended up in a privately owned student housing complex that looked awesome online and from the outside, but was a complete dump. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Tallahassee has the high-rise apartments that I like such as in cities like Philly, Miami, DC, etc.

No, we don't have high-rise apartments. There are a couple of new-ish high-rise condominiums downtown, and you may be able to rent one from the owner. One really nice place is the Tennyson, and I know of several law students who have rented condos there.

Barrington Park is really nice. I think they are condos though.

Alexan Southwood, and the Verandas are nice.

My mom is going to talk to some realtors about renting someone's vacant condo. I'm sure there's someone with a nice condo that is living elsewhere for now and wouldn't mind some extra money.
