Hi, I want to buy a vacation home in st pete but when I am not using it I would like to rent it out. Which area would you think people would be most likely looking to rent in st Pete. My price range is around 100k. Thank you

The beach areas are nice, but a place in downtown or in the Old Northeast area is also a great area to buy.

Can one actually buy a home in old NE or near the beaches for $100,000? Somehow I kind of doubt it.

That is what I Was thinking. I guess for that price I am better off in north st pete area. Far north or meadowlawn, fossil park.

You might do well with something around Gulfport.

I like North St. Pete because downtown is only a short drive away, Tampa is just over the bridge, and the beaches are about 15 minutes away. The area around 4th and Gandy is a good location IMO.

Are these beachside units too far below your budget?
