If you want to sit in miles of commuter traffic (and work in St. Pete area) in the a.m. and p.m., DO NOT move further north to Palm Harbor, Dunedin, etc.. 19N is horrible at either rush hour. Grind in/grind out everyday. More to life than that. There are apts. in Gandy area and Feather Sound.

Everyone evacs in area if hurricane from what I have been told by locals. They say to pack your bags and head to Georgia when evacuated.

I doubt the OP is still looking after 2 1/2 years.

Regarding the evacuations, I lived in Pinellas County for about 8 years and never once had to evacuate from the county. One storm we did leave our condo which was on the bay and went to a friends house at Sunset Point Rd 10 minutes away but that was it.

I certainly never left the state.
