Family is movin' down from Michigan and I've been lookin' for any decent hangouts to spend my time and meet new people. I've got a variety of interests so just about anything is worth mentioning to me (providing it's college-age friendly or even better, college-age based). Any websites, facebook pages, or review sites pertaining to any suggestions would also be great!

To be a tad more specific than that, I have been looking for any sort of club, lounge, bar, or "unique-interest" store where I could get to know a few people my age. Thanks for the help.

Your not going to find much of that in Spring Hill. Theres a few clubs on Spring Hill Dr and a couple on Mariner Blvd but i would head south of that area for anything decent.

You might want to get settled in with job and lodgings before wondering about what the nightlife is like in the area.
There are clubs scattered about SpringHill and Brookesville but i'm feeling you wont be that impressed, lot more clubs and things to do further south in Tampa/St Pete.
Heres a few in the area.

Check meetup.com for any groups close to you. You can search for specific events or browse through any group-listings.

You should take some classes at a community college to meet friends. If you meet people your age at a bar in that area you might get mixed up with some meth heads.

On the other hand you could meet some very nice people.

However, the community college thing is a great idea.
