Looking for recommendations on lawn care services in Tampa. Just need fertilization & weed control...no maintenance like cutting or trimming.

I know there is TruGreen, Massey, Plant It Earth (P.I.E), and some others.

If possible, mention the size of your yard when involving price and you recommendation.

Thanks a lot!

Massey is taking over this month, as my last do-it-all service didn't know it all. So I decided to break down lawn mowing, tree service and lawn/shrub/tree fertilizer and weed/pest control to separate and specialized companies. It ended up costing me the same as the combo service. For the Massey lawn/shrub/tree fertilizer and weed/pest control, it is $570 per year for a heavily sodded and landscaped sizable yard. I can track all service appointments online, which I like.

Green Team $54 a month and my yard still doesn't look like carpet.

We used Plant it Earth before that for $40 a month and wasn't impressed. Maybe it's just our grass?

I used TruGreen until I noticed my back yard was being lost to weeds. After asking my neighbor why that might be, he mentioned that the TruGreen guy every month would quickly walk through my back yard but would only treat my (smaller) front yard.

I fired them that day and it cost me $200 in new sod.

Keep them coming...can those of you mentioning price also include size of your yard?
