I think someone lives in a bubble of a pefect WORLD. Even the drug dealers in my hood don't come out in the day. I am on the coast and it is flat out hell with a reverse west windflow blowing off of 90 degree water temps. I can't think of any place worse than my area with near 100% sunshine days and only 2 or 3 days of rain per month in the summer.

I'm coming down for a visit the first week of October, as some one who is uncomfortable in anything over 80 degrees projected forecast in the 90's with high humidity is not something i'll be looking forward to,in fact hell might be a very good description of what i'm about to endure.
Why Come? Mom and Dad love the place and have been in Fla since the late 50's, as a good son i like to visit them a couple of times a year..

If you don't like over 80, then Florida is not the place for you much of the year. Luckily you should be able to handle it for a visit.

Lets pray the front gets stuck to our north and we get a training effect and i get 8" of rain next week. It sure is nice to dream. Here is my dry Sept, look at all them near 100% sunshine days without rain.

Maybe the turbulence from my southbound car will set in motion a climatic butterfly effect, thus setting in motion a major change in Fla. toward cooler weather..
What Is the Butterfly Effect? (with pictures)

Unfortunately long range weather forecasts for Tampa area look like temps will be around 90.. ugh
I was down last March and temps were in the low to mid 80\s the whole time, ugh again. On the trip home you just cant imagine my elation to driving into this late winter snow storm..

I think in the process of wiring up people to equate hot=good and cold=bad they must have got it backwards in my case

It was actually cool this morning, in the 60's. In a couple of weeks we can open the windows at night.
I went to phoenix this summer for a trip and I thought the heat there was absolutely horrible. It was 117 degrees when we got there. Ugghh.......no way I would ever live there.

Dry heat or not, it's worse than Florida heat.

In the deepest depths of night it gets down to about 72-73 here in South Tampa. I step on my balcony every night to feel it. Can't wait until next month when those temps are here during the better parts of the night. I hate Florida heat! Go away!

Hope you guys liked the slap in the face today with insane dewpoints. Back in a reverse west windflow. At least we have a little lift to mix things up and give us some rain this go around.

So its just going to be another typical day in the bay area. I personally never worry about the weather except when a hard freeze is expected. Then I have to cover some of my plants and my pond. Other than that, west wind flow, east wind flow, winds from the north or the south, rain, sun, high dewpoints or low, none of it controls my life and makes no difference to me.
