Having 4 granddaughters from 9 to 21 I am not n favor of little gals wanting to immitae these stars-- because they start as young singers, they keep the base from a very young age of grouppies. Think just like Justin B- will be hitting a brick wall before too soon. If you can really sing- do you really have to put on all that show?

I am not going to get into an argument over her or people like her. I am just stating that "I" think it is a good thing when big name performers put Tampa Bay on their radar. YMMV and that is okay.

I like her songs, I do not like her. She's a horrible role model for the kids of today...she tries to bring back twerking like it's new...she has no booty to twerk and not only that but she needs to roll that tongue back into her mouth. What is she trying to be, Gene Simmons?!

no argument- and I am glad that stars are coming to Tampa, but not at all amused with all of them. and I am a free spirit, but it's about the kids- not the adults who follow these and other far out folks. Who will go see her?

I get what your trying to say but they arent putting TB "on the radar" by coming here for one night. The lightning and Rays do a better job then some fly by night pop singer.

Please read more carefully. I did not say they are putting Tampa Bay on "the" radar by coming here for one night. I said it is good when big name performers put Tampa Bay on "their" radar. That means I think it is good when the big names (multiple performers) decide to come to Tampa Bay rather than bypassing it. By coming here they add to the commerce by providing entertainment to those who like them......which is financially better for Tampa Bay than not having these celebrities coming here...IMO. And I am talking about all the big attractions, not just this one woman.

Maybe you misread what I had posted, but it is very important not to change the words or misinterpret what is posted. I assume it was an honest mistake on your part.

Yeah! How come Tina Turner didn't have to do any of this?

Tina still looks good! To me, if you come out like blazing saddles you will burn up and in time just disappear..people just get tired of you... I like good music with great showmanship... Michael Jackson might have been weird,, but he could give you a show worth every dime, and one you would never forget,,, we still doing "Thriller" on Halloween. The man was a star and a class act performer. and he is not the only one, just not sure these crazy kids will arrive
