I was told of a restaurant that is on the west side of route 19 off from highway 50. This would put it some place between Weeki Wachee and Hernando Beach. It is a burger and seafood place, I am told vey basic with an inflatable doll on a moped out front. Chuckle if you wish, but does anyone know what this place is called or what road it is on ?
Thanks,
Don

I don't know about the moped with inflatable doll but it could be the Bayport Inn at the end of Cortez, The Upper Deck on Shoal Line or one a of a few others.

Hmmmmm

West side of 19 N from 50 is woods. Not much there for a ways.

S is Weeki Wachee. No restaurauts I can think of until the mexican place across from Blue moon.

On the east side in the shopping plaza is a place you can get burgers and seafood. I think it's Nellies.

If you go west on 50 from 19 you come to a very small place that I don't know the current name of. Becky's, BeckyJacks or something like that. Changes periodically. There's another place across the street right around there - Magdalenas. Further west or south on Shoal Line there are a few others including Cross Eyed Grouper.

There was a place that had fantastic burgers adjacent to the beach/park at Weeki. Across the river from the Upper deck. It's deaderz. Man they were good tho.

Don't recall the biker doll - I'll watch for it.

You sure? Bare Bones isn't on the Gulf. It's on Shoal Line. Think it's actually closed and for sale. I'll dbl check. Owners had a second location a wee bit north.

Brian's Place is probably the best food around there. Bay Port if you are after fried seafood.

Bare Bones does have a gulf view if you are very, very tall. Like 30 feet tall.
