Went to the docs today and noticed many trees are budding and flowering out.

Spring is around the corner. Gotta love it here.

Why would you be happy about that? I can't believe this winter's weather has been too cold for anyone.

This is a normal winter for us. It's been above normal since the late 80's other than in 1995-96 and 2010. Feb could be a cold shot wakeup call for us if the upper level pattern changes.

Living in Atlanta, this sounds so nice. It's been COLD, as in the teens a couple of times. No frozen precip so far, and fingers are crossed up here after last Winter!

I'm an ex-Floridian, and this is when I really miss it weather-wise. Will be down next month and can't wait.

This sounds perfect to me. Woke up this morning and it was just barely 20 degrees and windy in Maryland. 25 years of brutal New England winters and a few in Maryland make this sound amazing. Only about 2.5 months from our move, can't come soon enough.

This is the time of year where if I want visitors, all I have to do is make a quick phone call North, merely mention the weather, and plane tickets are booked in less than 12 hours lol. I'm not kidding either. That happened Thursday night.

So, first, I didn't know that trees here lose their leaves? I just moved from the north.

Also, spring is on the way? What will the weather be like in spring?
