I was wondering if there are any locations where you can view without a ticket. I'm disabled and sitting on metal bleachers will really aggravate my spine. Only in town for a brief period of time, so not familiar. Also is parking scarce? I have a handy cap tag so parking is free at the metered lots. Thanks!

There's a large shuttle bus service from parking at Tropicana Field. I don't recall if I had to pay to park there.....I really can't see where you'd find parking anywhere around the immediate area of the track - as far as viewing, I think you can sit up on the patio of the Mahaffey Theater to see the track. I went there - cars race by you quickly - can't see where you'd know what was going on though as far as who was leading, etc. You'll have to pay for a ticket though to get into that area of the Mahaffey.

I am not sure if it possible to see it anywhere without buying a ticket but you will definitely hear it and smell burned tires

Any rooftop/elevated lounges along 2nd Ave., Beach Ave. etc. downtown? That might help as being a place to be.

I am sure they will be making hay with anything that overlooks the circuit - so bars will be setting up tickets or packages I am sure
