The key is shade and a breeze. It makes all the difference in the world.
I lived in inland Florida. So it can't be too much different from that. I'm looking forward to NC myself. But I agree with you that if you are already used to hot and humid weather, then Florida is easy to handle.

I can't even. I think we're pretty blessed to have a seabreeze to keep us from that kind of humidity everyday. I should probably check on my cousins to see if they're still alive up there lol

With any luck the weekend will be cooler as another kink in the upper levels could bring some of us lots of rain.

Yeah it's been hot everywhere in the country right now. Should cool down by the time I arrive there in 3-4 weeks.

I think you will enjoy it very much. I know we did for several years. Just much too cold for us in winter and it was the right time to move to our ultimate and final destination.

We lived there for several years and for that particular time period the temps were way up there. You want to see some complaining about the weather, people were loud about it then.....LOL!

It makes no difference to me what you choose to believe, as we experienced what we did, so we know how it was. That's good enough for me, which is all that really matters.

Of course, but on any given day, if you look up the temp and the feels like temp, its not like Fuquay-Varina is going to be hotter than FL. Sure it will be some days, but people arent moving to FL from NC to cool down or escape the heat. In fact, very very few ppl from NC move to FL, its almost always the other way around, as you know.
