Any locations that would fit this criteria? Nothing too glamorous just would want to avoid a real high crime area. Would be moving from NJ.

I was looking at a few areas, like Hudson,etc... they were a tad bit further out then I wanted but the crime index was the same where I live currently and we have virtually no crime so that kinda threw me off.

Hudson is bad and over a hour away from the rock. Plenty of homes under 50k in that area if you wanna drive that far.

Whats bad in Hudson beside the would be drive to tampa? I haven't heard much bad about it besides it being boring, and a good amount of mobile homes in the area

If i were you at that price range, I would look rural, at 100k you will find plenty in the surrounding areas especially East Tampa but the crime is pretty high, in terms of the suburbs where the crime is less maybe Brandon you can find a townhome but the fees will kill you, so I would look at places like Thonotassasa, Dover, maybe Plant City, you would be in that commute time range and price you want.

I think the Riverview suggestion was a good one. Again, depends where in Riverview, but it's within the drive time range.
