I don't think anyone really cares, most people understand that you can be referring to an area as "Tampa" even though it might be outside the city limits.
Kinda like the videos you posted "Halloween events in Tampa". One of those events was in TnC, not technically in Tampa but most people can relate.

Hello everybody. Thanks so much for your replies. My husband works with Microsoft. But since he works from home (home office) most of the time, it does not matter, if he has to commute for a bit. That means we are quiet flexible where we stay.
We are an active family, and therefore would enjoy to be somewhere near bike or hike paths. It does not have to be very close to the beach. Nature close by would be what we like.
Does that specify our needs?
I appreciate your help very much!
Thank you!
By the way, we have looked at something already in Westchase and Waterchase. What do you think of these areas?

Very nice area. Family friendly with an easy commute to downtown and not too far from the beaches.
