I used to eat/study at a McDonald's near my house elsewhere in FL. They had four booths (with their cushioned seats) back to back, and each booth had its own wall outlet. But so far I'm not finding anything similar in Clearwater. I find some places like Subway or KFC with an outlet or two, but they're always at a middle table with their hard wood seats that aren't conducive to long-term sitting and studying. It would be nice to find a place where I could both eat a nice meal AND study at without having to worry about my laptop dying on me.

Find a Panera Bread... They usually do, at least the ones I've been to.

Rephrase - eat a meal.

Panera is hit and miss on outlets. They only have a few to begin with and unless it's a dead time of day, you likely won't find a table with an outlet. Or at least that's the way it used to be.

I don't care so much for the food - it's the solitude and ability to get away from the house and focus. And being in a restaurant means that if I get hungry, I can grab something. Even at McDonalds.

Domino's - they've been revamping their stores to be more sit down and eat in friendly, and have outlets and free WiFi

I just can not imagine any restaurant wanting someone hanging out longer than a charged battery will last!

I didn't know Domino's had any dine-in restaurants. Are you sure? I used to work there. They're not like Pizza Hut that has an occasional red roof restaurant. Or are you just talking about a few chairs to sit on while you wait for them to hand you your boxed pizza?

The Dominos near me was recently remodeled and now has an eat-in section.
