My husband and I are considering a move from chilly Pittsburgh to Florida. He drives a big rig for a living so we imagine a larger city will provide the most opportunities with the best wages. I work from home so location isn't as much of an issue for me. Tampa and Jacksonville are the two cities we are considering....any practical advice or opinions on these two cities? Thanks!

I've been to both and like both areas. I like the Jax Beach area better than the city of Jax, not that crazy about the city of Jax. I think the beach is prettier on the Atlantic side than the Gulf side (but the Gulf is not bad either). That whole coastline from St. Augustine up into GA is really nice, has a more wild feel with in many places with a lot of protected not built up areas.
