Hey everyone - My family (4 sisters ranging from ages 19 to 27) and I (25) are heading down to St. Pete on Friday for a weeklong vacation. Can't wait to get down there. We are Irish (well heck, who isn't!) and I would like to find a cool bar/restaurant to go to for dinner on Monday. Preferrably the place would be in St. Pete since we'll be staying on the Gulf in St. Pete Beach. If anyone knows of a good place, let me know! Also, are there any parades/celebrations that day in the area? Thanks - Adam

Got no idea about events in St. Pete, but there's a huge St. Patrick's Day celebration on Main St. in Dunedin every year.

Tampa has the St. Patricks Night Parade in Ybor City Saturday night...Monday, it Four Green Fields, MacDInton's and DUbliner in Hyde Park area, and Obrien's in Carrollwood area that throw some huge Irish parties.

I know there are some in St. Pete, I'll let the St. Pete people answer to that....

Annie Moore's on St. Pete Beach is an authentic Irish Pub. They have great kareoke. You will have a blast. Its right on the street so parking is a pain. You may want to get there early. It will most likely be crowded.

6395 Gulf Boulevard
St Pete Beach, FL 33706
(727) 363-4421

*I just re-read your post* If you're already staying on SPB you'll be 5 mins or less from Annie Moore's. Prob less. We dont have any St. Patty's parades unfortunatley.

In Tampa, you might start at any of these bars in South Tampa/downtown. Four Green Fields is located near downtown and is a very authentic environment, Dubliner and MacDintons are located on Howard and are walking distance to one another. These may have an age requirement, but the parade in Ybor City is a lot of fun as well. Have fun.
