I don't have additional advice for you, as there were good tips above. But just wanted to say I love reading your posts - sounds like you've got it together, and are pretty darn thorough in your goals and planning for them. You sound like the kind of person who will keep moving forward in life. I'm sure you'll hit some roadblocks like everyone does, but good luck to you on your transition! Would love to know how the job search ends so update this post once you get things finalized!

You think they use blinkers in FL? LOL.

Sad but true

If they don't use them in MO, then why would they in FL? LOL That's what uninsured/underinsured insurance is for and if they drive off they better hope my car isn't drivable....lol (I'll follow them while calling 911) I am great at multi-tasking....haha

Well thank you very much. That was a very nice post!!
I've been waiting for this for 30 years and I have been saving money and paying off debt working 60-70 hours per week to see this happen by saving every dime. Believe me, I'm definitely moving forward with my plans.

**Sidenote: I just finished my interview with Tampa General Hospital and their only concerns were my start date not being until October (but I did mention I could do September at the absolute earliest). The other road block is my family is in STL but I explained to them honestly (Since I've never been a good liar - not for lack of trying as a teenager....lol) that as horrible as it sounds and as much as I love my family, I love them at a distance and the last thing I need to do is FAIL. I explained FAILURE is not an option for me and there would be NOTHING WORSE than coming back to MO hearing my mom standing over me saying "I told you so"......

I interviewed with like 4 or 5 different people, bit nerve wrecking....But it's all good we are all human. He did say that he'd let me know in a week as they had a couple more interviews, they will have to check on the hiring timeframe and that he did say he thinks I could bring a lot of qualities to the position. But guess we'll see.....Ugh so nervous....

I'm in your corner and wish you nothing but the best.

That being said.. if it doesn't work out and you end up moving.. it does not mean you failed.
It just means it didn't work out. Nothing more nothing less.

If anything, I think people that try new things, whatever it is, are the big time winners, regardless of the outcome.

Life is about the experiences.
