Can someone tell me what the difference is between Holiday and Tarpon Springs. I am looking to relocate my family from michigan. Any info would be great!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parents live in Holiday and that is where I was raised. I live in the neighboring New Port Richey. The big difference between Holiday and Tarpon Springs is that Holiday is in Pasco County and Tarpon Springs is in Pinellas County. Pasco's property taxes are much lower then Pinellas County. Tarpon is a bigger area then Holiday. The schools are not much different neither is the shopping. Both Holiday and Tarpon are pretty congested with traffic and if you are looking for employment you will probably need to go further into Pinellas County as jobs pay less in Pasco. I think at the last County Commission meeting it was estimated that over 80,000 people commute OUT of Pasco County for work.

Love Holiday
Lots of factors to consider as stated by others - but we live in Holiday in Gulf Trace and love it.....Problem with FL is that you can have a nice neighborhood with less costly houses on both sides....that is the case here.
