Well generally I agree with your views on issues but you are very angry at some things which are stupid. This pollutes your vision and the angst fogs your points that are valid.
I like most in Tampa Bay am not native I was born in Washington DC, and that huge johnny reb flag you like to represent all of Tampa Bay with doesn't speak for me as a white man, or any man.
Nor does it speak for a great many native born southerner no more than Archie Bunker speakes for the Queens in NYC.
Environmentally the Florida panhandle represents one of the most diverse eco's on the planet. Top ecosystem in North America and the rest of the state isn't far behind. Do you know Florida is 3rd in the nation behind alaska and Minnesota for bald eagles?

It's important to understand the kind of economy Florida has. Interesting article here: https://www.tampabay.com/news/in-a-g...lies-20190206/

Tampa exhibits a heightened degree of what is happening in many cities around the country.

High cost of living when compared to average wages paint a slightly less assured economic future for our area.

It's important to diversify our economy while times are good.

There are still, all the old Apartment buildings throughout Tampa Bay area that are priced alot lower, because they were built in the 1960's thru 1970's. What's really going on is all these brand new Apartment's all over Tampa Bay.

Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, Largo...you name it, It's happening all over Tampa Bay. Brand New Buildings everywhere and it's not cheap.

1,200 a month for a 1 Bedroom and there not huge in Square Feet. Some are only 850 Sq. Ft.
