Nothing to be afraid of Florida Gators are a friendly lot unless you root for the Seminoles DAWGS, or UscuM

Oh I hope my family members and I never run into an alligator if we decide to relocate to Florida but it will not deter our decision, we would just be more cautious.

My company has a plant in Odessa, right in an Industrial park. A 7 foor gator leisurely took a stroll right behind our building which backs up to another industrial plant. A guy I work with sent me the pics, I was not there to see it.

We have our air compressors out there which we lock up every night, that is when the guy noticed the gator. Good thing it was still light out! This guy could have snuck right up and snatched someone if he felt like it! The gator was only about 15 feet away. Didn't bother anyone, but you never know!

honestly, if you don't bother them, they won't bother you

my mom used to take my sister and I to the park to feed the Gators marshmellows when we were younger...this is a bad idea though!

I agree. Growing up in Miami we used to see them in my neighborhood all the time and they never bothered us. Can you have a problem? Sure. But that is pretty rare I think.

Marshmellows. Too funny. Makes me feel less guilty for giving one a bologna sandwich when I was around ten. My dad still hasn't forgiven me for that one lol. Says he lost years off his life when I did that.
