We're narrowing it down here for a place to live and visiting soon, think we're looking at Safety Harbor vs. Gulfport. We have an elementary-aged child and would love folks opinions on the public schools in both of those areas, and anything else that you can tell us to compare the two areas.

We narrowed it down to Safety Harbor, Gulfport and Dunedin in 2013 and bought in Gulfport and have never regretted it. But we are retirees, so don't have school opinions.

I'm far from the most-knowledgeable person on here as I'm pretty new to the area, but Pinellas public schools area almost all bad and I've heard a lot of good things about schools in SH. Both areas are really cool but pretty different from each other too. Schools aside, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Safety Harbor is really cool. I'm right on the border of Clearwater and across the road is Safety Harbor. Yeah we have two airports nearby with Tampa and PIE. You will get a little noise. Also when the Coast Guard practices. Not gonna shake your room or anything. I'm a very light sleeper and the planes never bother me.
