55 and up Townhouses, Condos suggestions (Clearwater, Oldsmar: renting, living, floor)

Hi All!

I have elderly family members in their mid 70s that are checking out townhouses, condos, for 55 and up in the Clearwater and Oldsmar area and we're open to suggestions, please DM me.

They are looking at renting right now, $1200 a month range (more or less)

Safe place, etc. all the good stuff and checking out places in the next couple of weeks so any serious suggestions would be greatly appreciated, please DM.

I strongly advise that they avoid any place with stairs.

Years ago we had a condo townhouse in Treasure Island. All of the 111 units had 2 bedrooms. It was technically an all age community, but for most families 3 bedrooms is the minimum. There were 3 kids in the whole complex.

Because it is near the water, the building code requires that the living quarters be above the 100 year flood level. That meant the second floor. Every time you went in or out you had to go up or down the stairs. The ground floor was all garage. We now live in a ground floor condo.

Never again will your family be as young as they are right now.
