I want to move to Lakeland because I want a little yard, a great High School, and a reasonable rent for a home that is nice, mold free, well kept etc. But I can't figure out what area to live in- or even if there is more then the ONE Tech High School that is genuinely known to be a great school.
Any advice for me!!!! I'd so appreciate the guidance. Chandra

Good school and cheap rent tend to be mutually exclusive. However for for Tech High School in the Lakeland area not restricted by school zones, try these:

McKeel Academy of Technology
Travis Technical College
PSCCH

There ain’t no cheap rent around here, but I’m in St Pete: the garbage truck has knocked down the fence out back, 3 rooms cost $1,100 for rent…gripe…gripe…gripe.
