Why would someone get an apartment across the bridge if they don’t work on that side moving here for the first time. Do yourself a huge favor live on the side you work: that bridge will take years off you.

The frankenstein has been a nitemare blare since 1960. They can build 4 more next to each other brother and there would still be a wreck beck everyday.

How people even wreck on that bridge is beyond me.

Speaking of adding lanes, is that what they're doing there right now? Last time I drove it I saw a bunch of pillars in the water on the north side of the bridge, next to the Westbound lanes.

Edit: Never mind, just looked it up. The express lanes make sense though... Should help out somewhat.
I like the bike lanes. I'll be using them.

Wake up bra. It's old news. Just like they started to do in 1985 when they drove the test piles for the newer bridge you see now. Always been wrecks everyday ray on that bridge midge. Very easy why we have wrecks when peeps do a 100+ and change lanes like morons. I had to deal with it in the 80's when there was only one bridge and any wreck closed it down like a silly clown. Guess you were not here when this area was 50 times better.

No, I was not here in the 80s.

Whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to the bike lanes.

What Tampa needs is a rail connecting Downtown Tampa to Downtown St-Pete. That would alleviate tons of chaos on those bridges.
I know this won't happen, but one can dream.

They've tried doing it with a ferry service, but it's stupid expensive and takes forever. Better yet, they didn't even run it at times that made sense for people who might want to try and use it to commute to/from work.

Government at it's finest.
