I just reread it & saw that it's net... my mistake.

The point is this is how rental offices will tabulate monthly affordable rent, since he hasn't rented before.

If he could manage to make it work & stay at home, especially since he's working 50+ hours, so not home often, I'd imagine, he could sock away a lot of money & buy a condo down the line.

Hey Joey, just an FYI... if you've got a W2 and the pizza place is reporting all of your income... you're going to end up having to pay taxes on it. Just keep that in mind. If there isn't enough tax coming out, you're going to be hit with a big tax bill when you do your taxes and they're going to expect you to pay for it. Consider setting aside at least one paycheck to pay for that tax bill.

Just have to be careful who one is renting from. Lots of predators out there, especially once you get into Pasco County.
