I just wanted to get little help as I am new to Tampa, FL. I belong to India and looking for some good Indian community apartments. My office is at Tampa Downtown(Deliotte) & we are moving to Tampa by April' 23. I have a 4 yr old son. I am looking for apartment/community close to 20 mins drive from my office and good school for VPK as well. I know there are other good/safe communities are there but we would like to prefer community where few Indian families present.

Thanks in advance for taking time to read my thread.

There aren’t any “Indian communities” that I know of in the area. There isn’t a heavy Indian population here.
That said, you will fit in just fine pretty much anywhere, as the region is generally very diverse and accepting of all cultures.

What is your budget range? Are you looking for more of a suburban or urban feel?

As Arcenal asked Budget will determine the options.

Traffic isn't pretty during rush hour. 20 minutes in heavy traffic would make for a very small circle around your office.
There are many large apartment complexes in the Westshore area and some around Hillsborough and Veteran's Parkway. A few out on Rocky Point as well.
I assume they have many Indian residents amongst all the nationalities.
As far as I know you won't see the Indian community clustered in any particular neighborhood or complex

Keep in mind the Rental market is tight right now with many communities on waiting lists. I've known people who have been searching for a new rental home for several months

There seems to be a fairly large number of Indian/Pakistani people in the apartments in the western part of Brandon along Providence Road and Gornto Lake Road. I drive through the area regularly and see a lot of either Indian or Pakistani people walking in the area.

There are three Indian markets in Temple Terrace near the University of South Florida campus and would bet there's a fair number of Indian faculty and grad students in that area. Here's some apartment options. https://www.apartments.com/apartment...qy5u_s_G81u-1X

South Tampa if your budget affords it. If not, you’ll need to sacrifice something. NW Hillsborough (Citrus Park, Westchase, etc) are good options if you’re willing to go a little further. If you really want a short commute, you could live in Brandon right by the crosstown. I don’t like Brandon, but there’s never traffic on the crosstown so you can actually commute from Brandon in under 20m if you’re right by the entrance.

When you get here, let us know what you think of Curry Leaves. It's an Indian restaurant in a gas station in South Tampa.
