My husband and I will be moving to Florida in the near future and his job will be located in Orlando; however, I would love to live in Tampa or atleast close to Tampa. Is there anyplace that is between Tampa and Orlando that is be a nice, safe area and busy (City Like)?

Lakeland - it's a nice, clean smaller city (about 100,000 pop) located right between Tampa and Orlando. It has city amenities of it's own, such as a nice art museum, renovated downtown, a nice open-air shopping mall, art galleries, lots of parks and recreation, etc. Best neighborhoods are to the south of downtown. About 45 minutes to Tampa, maybe 55-60 to Orlando (depending where you live and traffic)

Hope this helps!
