As some of you know I have recently (May) bought and moved into a house in Carrollwood. In the recent rains I have noticed that there is some water dripping from a spot about five feet inside my carport. I have not been able to tell whether it is a leak coming through the roof of the carport or if the pitch of the carport ceiling is simply causing it to drip there from the rain coming in at the front of the carport. It's not dripping in the house, but at the same time if it is a leak I want to get it fixed before it causes more expensive damage. Does anyone have any recommendations for a roofer or other contractor who does roof repairs in the Carollwood area? Since it may simply be running from the front and dripping in this particular spot I am hoping to find an honest contractor who would tell me that if that is all it was. And of course having found a good honest roof contractor I would use him or her when I do need repairs in the future.

As always, thanks in advance.

Central Florida Construction Company, Richard Rodrigues. His cell number: 813-334-8434. He was recommended by my floor guy. We had a leak that damaged a part of our floor. We couldn't pinpoint the location or reason for the leak. Before I replaced the flooring, I wanted to fix the leak. Richard came out and spent time (about 45 minutes) looking into where the leak was coming from. He gave us several options and we discussed the possibilities. His estamate, IMO, was fair. I did not feel he was out to rip us off. After he did what he did to our roof, we no longer have a leak. He stuck to his lower estimate. The higher estimate was in case he found any further problems he may have anticipated with this job.

Thank you both for the information - I will call Central Florida Construction soon. I very much appreciate the input.
