We are relocating to Tampa. My husband will be working downtown and we would like a nice family type neighborhood with 30 minute of less commute? Our realtor has sent us some houses in Carrollwood. How is this neighborhood?

How's that possible? Maybe you were joking?

Not to plug this realtor (I just did a Google), but here's some basic info...

This forum seems very quiet...does anyone know of another Tampa real estate discussion group?

I would pick Brandon Riverview area, lot easier to get downtown. I lived in that area briefly and Dale Mabry traffic is awful, sorry to be negative. New homes in brandon are cheaper then resale homes. Lots of builders are trying to get rid of inventory homes and easy to qualify than conventional loans.
offering amazing deals. Just watch out for Realtorsin all areas, flipping homes they bought for investors. They are jacked up in price. They bought load of homes in my sub, realtors I mean, and are trying to resell with 50,000 added.
