I understand that generally Floridians arent used to temperatures in the 30s, so I get the complaining.

What I find hysterical is the people I see around who, instead of layering up appropriately, dress like they're expecting a blizzard. Parkas, gloves, scarves, big clunky snow boots, etc. etc. If you plan to be outside for a bit of time put on a flannel, a hooded sweatshirt and a beanie and you'll be golden.

Depends on how cold sensitive you are, baby. I am very much so, although I am not originally from Florda and have lived in Canada. But I was wearing sweaters and coats in the last few days and weeks, otherwise I get sick. And my home is set at 79, comfortable temperature for me.

Sorry if some people find that stupid, but I feel great when many people sweat (most of the year). Please don't be judgemental

Is that true???? We are at the beginning of January. "They" said this winter would be worse than last one. So I got ready .

If you are right, for me it IS a happy New Year . I am so miserable when it is cold.

We won't see anything like we did last Jan thru March, just much less rain. Gonna be a bad fire season as we won't see any rain until around mid June.
