Default RN Salary

Informative link BucFan but I've learned that salary.com is always that accurate. We're also considering a move to the area and my wife is an RN. Are there any RNs out there that know actual salary ranges and can speak to the good vs. bad hospitals? I also work in healthcare, clinical software to be exact, and will be considering the local hospitals too. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Some hospitals I'm considering for myself are: Moffitt, Baycare, All Childrens Hospital, and Shriner's. These all use the clinical software that I specialize.

As a registered nurse for nearly 15 yrs, I can tell you that its very hard, manually intensive work - often thankless. I was a CNA to get through college and that work is even more difficult.

I have seen RN's incomes anywhere from $48,000-75,000. Who knows with your experience though, you could get the higher end or more.

Nursing executives, directors, and nurse practitioners/clinical nurse specialists/nurse anesthetists have a lot of earning potential (Post graduate education required).
