Repetition is what gets information from short term to long term memory.
Essays make you think about the information you learned and how to frame it in your own words of understanding.

How does a teacher measure what you learned and did you retain that information ?
And later in life you will need to be able to accomplish this on your own without anyone telling you to do it.

There is no easy way out. That is life.

Maybe in the long run you would understand how important assignments are. It's the thought process which distinguishes between an above average and a brilliant student.

In fact, assignments are easier than exams as you can ask for help and discuss the problems.

Not asking you to cheat but there are places like Essay writing service can handle all kinds of essays in no time!, etc to get the work done but work done but surely that's should not be the case every time.

I recommend you give a try yourself first!

This is HORRIBLE advice! Cheating, and that is what a essay writing service does for you, is never the correct answer. It should not be the case any time, let alone every time. If you get caught using this type of service you will at best fail the assignment, at worst be expelled from school. With all the anti-plagiarism software out there it is getting easier to get caught too. Aside from which, if you have any other writing assignments, or even if there is a lot of class discussion, many teachers can tell what you turned in is written in a voice other than your own. If you can't bring yourself to do the assignments, it might be a sign that you may need to take a break from school until you are ready to do them.

You're absolutely right but I see the problem when students think like that. I mean it should never get to such a situation where students start doing that. Let's got into "anti-plagiarism software", I dont even know whether or not it exist. Nothing can be better than doing assignment on your own. All the best Chelo!

I remember feeling like you do....I think maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the teachers would let you write an assignment about something that really interests you. Maybe you could ask about that. Other than that, I guess essays are really about teaching pronunciation, etc, and there's really no way out...not that I know about anyways...it's manageable if you really want to pass the course...just realise that chances are you'll never have to do it later in life. I always considered it an act of tolerance..at best. Good luck, hang in there...we all had to do it.

I am talking about software that checks for plagiarism by students and, yes, teachers do use it. Not that you even need a program with some papers. I (middle school teacher) have put paragraphs, from papers students have turned in, into google and found the original work. At that age it isn't catastrophic, a call is put into parents, they are given a lecture on the perils of plagiarism, they get a couple of days of detention, and they have to re-do the entire assignment for less credit. High school and college teachers are far less generous.
