I worked for two years in this district while my husband was assigned to Fort Knox. It was always amazing, especially considering how large the district was, the level of chronism that went on. But, even taking that into account, this is jaw dropping and an affront to their teachers.

She is even making more than the guy that is supposed to be her boss, who is also a lawyer but has teaching experience, and drum roll, is a certified teacher. I can only hope the local teacher's association can get it voided.

Disgraceful. I hate to think what is going through the minds of many employees in this system, but unfortunately things like this have become common.

"Networking" has been a popular suggestion for finding a job for decades now, but where is the line between networking and outright nepotism? I see underhanded deals in our central office every day, everything from overpaying for classroom tablets to magically having jobs for the new head football coach's wife. I don't know that it will ever go away.
