My advice is to look for an area where there's a church that wants to take her under their wing. We do this a lot with refugees, why not a refugee from a bad situation?

I've never come across a church that was willing to help someone in this country. And I am not talking hypothetical scenarios, either. Now, I'm sure there are churches out there that will, but I have never personally come across one. And in The South her odds might be better. But you get the church door slammed in your face enough and you will swear off church and most of the things surrounding it for life.

Not to mention, most churches that help someone restrict that help to someone in their congregation. Or if they do reach outside for someone who hasn't suffered a catastropic loss, it's a one time thing- not the continual support (either financially or otherwise) that this girl would need.

And for what it's worth? At sixteen I had our daughter and the offer of a full scholarship to college. At seventeen I was married and living with my husband in our own home, having get togethers for forty plus people at a time. Now i'm 34 with three kids, a farm, all sorts of animals and a life with a man that i'm STILL happy with.

Not all teenagers are snotty little know it alls. Stereotyping sucks, no matter the reason.
I assumed NOTHING! i asked!

You know as well as I do, though- without a face to face or at least hearing an inflection in the voice-it's hard to tell someone's meaning sometimes. :0)

Not all teens are snots- my only teen at the moment has her times, but nothing like what I see out and about. My youngest? I think she's gonna be a snot. My son is so laid back I don't see him expending the energy.

Apparently as we age we get stupid!

And if you go check out the OPs posts, every single one is about being emancipated in a different place. Someone's not happy!
My computer has been being repaired for sometime since i posted this. Just got back. Im not at all a snobby teen who thinks i know everything. I simply get abused by my family. And no i do not think that abused means, yelled at, curfew, discipline, etc. If you were in my situation, you would not be saying these things. Im not simply looking at places that cost the least, im looking at places where i believe i would be happy. I do not enjoy city life at all, i want to be in wide open spaces and such. Stereotyping me, saying that i just want to get away from my parents, really is not very nice. You have nothing to judge it on.
