My family and I want to move to TN. I am originally from Chicago and my husband is from Florida.
Is there any specific area that is better for small children? We are looking to buy and mobile home on some acreage. We would like some place that has a good view as we have been living in totally flat Florida for many years.

Tennessee is 500 miles long. There are many places good for children. Do you want to live in the western section of the state where Memphis is, the middle or the more hilly north east? There is rural land everywhere.

Climate is different. You may actually get some snow in the northeast portion . You may get tornadoes in the west, which tends be the hotter portion of the state.

Do you have a budget ? Where will you and your husband be working ? Do you need to look for jobs? If so what fields are you in. ?

First you're going to have to find work, then you can narrow down options. Please do not even consider moving without jobs, the economy is not good and wages in TN are not high unless you're very skilled professional.
