HI
Im new to this blogging thread and im looking for some input on a few things. Im currently residing in Clinton Twp, MI and looking to relocate to Tennesse in summer of 2017. I am an 50 yr old single lady who works as an CNA & Phlebotomist. I am currently attending school to get my bachelors degree in Health Care Administration.

I lived in Bolivar with Uncle in the mid 80s for about a year and then Chattanooga for 2 years. I always loved the scenic part of chattanooga and im considering chattanooga but im also thinking of Knoxville or Murfreesboro as well.

My 1st 2 years thier i plan on renting a townhouse and im currently reseraching the cities mentioned above and will start visting the above mentioned places in late march or april to see where im interested in going but i would also like some tips from those who live thier as well as those who moved from the northern states to tn....

Ill be working in the healthcare field and maybe the postal field as well.
Any suggestions on areas in chattanooga, knoxville or murfreesboro to live

Thanks

We retired from Clinton Twp to a rural area northwest of Knoxville in 2014..We love it here. ..I can't really comment about the larger cities but I'm sure you'd be able to find work here. What made you choose Tennessee?

Really? Maybe because you are coming from Detroit?

I don't mean to ridicule you, but this is a relocation forum and I'd feel guilty if I didn't point out that Scott County is one of the most economically depressed areas in the country.
