Ah, our friend lives below that area; Turner Road. The hotel room wasn't ready when we finally pulled in around 8 a.m. after 14 hours of driving, so we crashed on his couch for a few hours.

We're leaving here around 7:30 a.m.According to mapquest and yahoo it should take 2 hours and 28 minutes.... we'll be there just at 10:00 eastern, which is really 9 central, right? I get so confused with time zones.
Gee Karen you missed the opportunity of busting on Bones and warming him up for the rest of us?? LOL See ya in the morning

It's 5:30A EST and I am about to leave within 20 minutes. I want to arrive at the park around when the sun comes up to take a few photos. I'll see you guys around 8:30A Central.

I have the table covers, don't forget, so don't spread out too soon.

Hi Everyone!!

Well, by now you have figured out that hubby and I didn't make it to Fall Creek Falls. During the week, hubby wasn't feeling well, but I wanted to wait until yesterday before we made a decision.....WELL, guess who ended up sick - yep, yesterday afternoon I came down with a headache to beat all headaches, and hubby said he knew it was bad when I didn't even get close to my computer at all! All I wanted to do was be in a dark room with no sounds in the background. It is now noon on Saturday, and I have just now turned on the computer, so I could send y'all a note! I am feeling a bit better, but not fantastic!

I am sooooooo disappointed!! I hope y'all will decide that you want to have another get-together soon!! Please, please post lots of pics too. And I feel really bad that you don't have splenda or creamer for your coffee and I was planning to spend last nite baking cookies to bring -- I am so sorry!!

I look forward to hearing all about it and hope to meet everyone next time!!

Bette
