A good portion of the time we are cooler in the early morning,(usually in the lowest 5 towns). Being 10 miles north of Crossville, we're 5 - 10 degrees cooler in the summer, and 3 - 4 degrees warmer in the winter than the temperatures in town....

Yes, as Bones mentioned this area of the state from Crossville north to Oneida west to Jamestown- triangle are the coolest parts of the state other than the upper elevations of the Smokies. This portion of the Plateau is often 5-7 degrees cooler than the TN valley or the western slope heading towards Cookeville and Nashville.

Hey, that sled I used in the video last winter, well its dead, but... I bought another identical to it for like 4 bucks and yes... I triple dog dare ya! I did manage to cut a few more trees and bushes out of the at the bottom.

I went for a ride today but thankfully there is no film.

You know if you take a bar of paraffin and run it back and forth on the runners it will make it that much faster.................................
