They are adding an outdoor deck to eat on. It's allmost finished.
Wow. That is MAJOR inside information. I haven't been, but people that seem to know what they are talking about, swear by Best Italian. If they have that chef, they have a gem.

Thanks for the big head's up. I would have went to Best Italian and been disappointed.

Where is this place? Please?

Ok...I know someone who does a Karoke show there or they used to maybe not anymore. You aren't related to Larry are you? Anyway...I love Garfields too. I used to eat there all the time. One of my best friend's in hs waitressed there. That was almost 12 years ago. I had totally forgotten about them. I need to go there next time I am up that way. Thanks for reminding me! :-)

You guys have casinos? We have some here in Florida too, on the reservations, but we don't ever seem to get there. Are there a lot of them?
Are they good sized ones?

There is only one so far in Cherokee. It is a Harrahs and it is ok. It is dry but not near as smokie as some I have been in. I prefer Atlantic City and Aruba for Casinos. That really isn't saying much as we might spend $40 when we go...not big gamblers for sure LOL! It is a fun thing to do though. We are going to go there Friday night after a nice dinner in Gatlinburg, spend a few hours Saturday morning doing some hiking in the park, then spend rest of the day at Dollywood. Makes for a nice weekend not far from home and relatively inexpensive as we have season passes for Dollywood, no charge for nature but gas .

There is now a MIMI'S Cafe in Central Florida, in Altamonte Springs by the ALtamonte Mall off Palm Springs Blvd.

There are no casinos in Tennessee. Cherokee is in NC. The only form of gambling allowed in TN is the state lottery. But the highest concentration of casinos outside of Nevada is in Tunica, Mississippi, just south of Memphis. I go there for the amazing all-you-can-eat buffets.
